CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
Here is an outline of itinerary durations, pick-up from Portarlington Ferry Terminal, all provisions and accomodation provided except linen (well, sleeping bags actually) and your crew. Arriving midday from Docklands on Day 1 and departing mid afternoon on Day 3. Any booking can be coupled with one provisioning option so schmooze the sustenance options and decide as a group.
WOKEBOAT ADVENTURER
WOKEBOAT ADVENTURER
This is for the crew who have a passion for adventure and conservation. Is that you? We will set aside 3hrs (or more depending on how deep your passion runs) across the trip for field work amongst sailing and exploring. Field work will involve either manual collection of plastics or weeds. Sieve trawling and micro plastics audits or wildlife research. This is the mainstay of the operation, and the whole crew will bask in the warm glow of knowing that you made a positive impact. Many hands makes light work. Includes all the ‘4D sailing’ package ( in short, living aboard and learning to sail) yet at a discount, ‘cos you care!

Provisioning Options
We have three options for the provisioning of your trip. Vego or Vegan, Hunter / Gatherer, and Omnivore. Aboard the boat it’s one in all in, so it’s up to the group to choose which menu to start from. The chef is pretty ‘bang on’ or so he’s been told.
Vego / Vegan
We are pretty solid on the vegetarian option, frankly less so with the Vegan as we will admit we aren’t vegan and as such haven’t practised it as much as you’d hope, but we try.
Sea Gleaning includes all kinds of local native foods with and without a pulse. Abundant sustainable fish varieties, foraged molluscs and edible native flora from both land and sea. Learn from the crew!
Omnivore is the classic meat and three veg - spanning a few nationalities without too many surprises such as Japanese, South American and South East asian… oh, and scones.
Beverages We’ll provide a few local wines… beer and spritzes, perhaps a wee nightcap. It’s not about hard drinking… again, this is not a booze cruise.
Field Work VOYAGES and Expedition Support
We’ve done a fair bit of field work our selves and in collaboration with researchers and adventurers. Supported expeditions include visiting the Bass Strait Islands, and Wilsons Prom. These are usually much longer voyages requiring extensive planning for which either of the previous two experiences are a pre-requisite.
Climbing and Paddling around the Kent Group: Erith Island and Deal Island. Or as far as Flinders island.
